SizeKit’s tools and guides are provided for general information and everyday convenience. They are not professional advice.

General information only

Calculators, converters, guides and examples on SizeKit are offered in good faith. We work to keep formulas correct, but we cannot guarantee that every result is free of error or suitable for your situation. Check anything important independently before relying on it.

Health and BMI

The BMI Calculator and related guides are not medical advice and do not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. BMI is a general screening number for adults. It does not measure body fat, and it can be misleading for athletes, older adults, children, pregnant people and people from some ethnic backgrounds. Speak with a doctor, nurse or registered dietitian about your health, and seek urgent help if you are worried about your health.

Money, shopping and percentages

The Discount Calculator and percentage tools do plain arithmetic. They do not include tax, fees, interest or store rules, and they are not financial advice. The final price at a checkout may differ.

Ages and dates

The Age Calculator counts calendar dates in your time zone. Legal ages, school or retirement cut-offs, and rules for people born on 29 February may follow different conventions. Confirm important ages with the organisation that sets the rule.

Unit conversions and measurements

Conversions use exact international definitions where they exist, but displayed results are rounded. For engineering, medical, scientific or safety-critical work, use calibrated instruments and the exact figures required. Measurements you take yourself are only as accurate as your equipment.

Photos and uploads

SizeKit cannot guarantee that a resized photo will be accepted by any website, employer, school, government service or other organisation. Their requirements can change. Compression can reduce image quality, so preview the result before submitting it.

Advertising and external links

SizeKit may display advertising from third parties such as Google AdSense. We do not control the content of third-party ads or external websites, and a link or an advertisement is not an endorsement.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, SizeKit and its operator are not responsible for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the tools or content. See also the Terms of Use.
